About Markovina Vineyard Estate
Markovina Vineyard Estate is a family-owned wedding and event venue in Kumeu, about 20 minutes from the Auckland CBD, run with over 55 years of experience. Only one wedding is held per day, which gives the couple exclusive access to all the gardens.
Wedding packages include a choice of nine ceremony locations around the grounds, such as the Pebble Beach by a pond and a palm garden. For rain or cold, a large stone fireplace serves an indoor ceremony, and a glass room with retractable elements keeps the garden view.
Receptions are seated indoors beneath a canopy of vines, with menus made for varied dietary needs and cultures. The venue also covers Indian, Asian, Maori and Pasifika, and Middle Eastern weddings, plus intimate weddings, corporate events, school balls and Christmas functions.
It was named 2026 NZ Wedding Vendor of the Year at the NZ Wedding Vendor Awards. Rated 4.8 from 780 Google reviews, 665 of them five stars.
