About McGrath Estate
McGrath Estate is a 200 acre farm venue on the western side of the Waitakere Ranges, about 40 minutes from the Auckland CBD at 163 Horsman Road. Weddings are held at The Barn, a purpose built space for 50 to 150 guests, with ceremony locations around the farm and valley.
Wedding packages give exclusive use of the estate for photography and include macrocarpa tables and bentwood chairs, a reception bar, festoon lighting, lawn games, toilets and a shuttle from the car park down to the Red Barn. Catering is through Free Range Chef or a food truck agreed beforehand, and outside caterers are not allowed.
Marquee hire is available for wet weather cover over the Red Barn deck. Te Henga (Bethells Beach) and Lake Wainamu are a 10 minute drive away.
